Selected is an artist development joint initiative between partners Galway Arts Festival  and NUI Galway for emerging artists and producers.

Selected began last year with six NUI Galway graduates joining four other artists in the initiative.  In 2013 participants will be offered a range of experiences from an extensive interaction with the new Festival production to seeing how a large international festival  is put together to attending shows, post-show talks and  bespoke seminars facilitated by a variety of international and Irish arts professionals all focused on aiding their development in their chosen career.
