What should I do if I don't receive a confirmation e-mail for my online booking?
If you are having any problems with booking online or are worried that you're booking may not have gone through, phone the Central Ticket Bureau on 0818 205 205 or after the 23rd of June you can phone The Galway Arts Festival Booking Office on 091 566577. When can I go into the Booking Office in person to purchase tickets?
The Galway Arts Festival Booking Office will be open from the 23rd of June. Mon to Fri 10am to 6.30pm and Sat 10am to 5pm and will be located on Merchants Road. Is there reserved seating at the Festival venues?
The only venue where there is reserved/designated seating is at the Town Hall Theatre. At other venues seating will be on a first come first seated basis. Is the on-line booking facility secure?
Yes, the on-line booking facility offered by Galway Arts Festival is secure. The booking page has a Equifax Secure Certificate. Who are the Central Ticket Bureau?
The Central Ticket Bureau are a ticketing agency based at Eden Quay, Dublin. They are suppliers of a comprehensive range of services and equipment for theatres, venues, festivals, exhibitions, concerts and promoters. They work with a number of festivals including Galway Arts Festival, Eigse, Kikenny Cats laughs and the Junction Festival in Clonmel. Galway Arts Festival has worked with The Central Ticket Bureau for the past number of years in providing ticket booking facilities to our customers. Online bookings for shows in Radisson SAS Ballroom
When booking online for shows in the Radisson SAS Ballroom customers will see 2 ticket types 1: ADMIT ONE and 2: ADMIT TWO. This is a systems issue and there is no difference between the two tickets types. We apologise for any confusion this causes. Where is Campbells Tavern?
Campbells Tavern is located in Cloughanover, 13 miles from Galway. It is just off the Galway-Headford Road 2 miles the Galway side of Headford. Are there age restrictions on admission to Music concerts and comedy gigs?
In accordance with the Intoxicating Liqour Acts 2003 and 2004 no under 18s are allowed to remain in a Licenced Premises after 10pm. Due to this legislation no under 18s will be allowed into any nighttime shows in the Radisson SAS Ballroom, Roisin Dubh (except Trad Lunchtime shows), Cuba and Music concerts in Festival Big Top. Where is the Festival Big Top located?
The Festival Big Top will be located in the Fisheries Field, Galway. The Fisheries field is located in Galway City Centre, opposite Galway Cathedral, approximately a ten minute walk from Eyre Square and Ceannt Rail & Bus station. It is beside the River Corrib and the Big Top will be clearly visible when crossing the Salmon weir bridge. There is free car parking (after 6.30 pm) in the catherdral car park (approx 160 spaces) directly opposite the venue (2 minute walk). There is also parking in Dyke Road car park (approx 400 spaces) a 10 minute walk from the venue. There are numerous other car parks around the city centre within 10-15 minute walk. |
